The album was released in support of the Halifax arts society of the same name.

Vivian Maier

Have you heard about Vivian Maier? Terrific photographic skill aside, the story behind her work is also remarkable. 

"Vivian's work was discovered at an auction here in Chicago, where she resided most of her life. Her discovered work includes over 100,000 — mostly medium format — negatives, thousands of prints, and countless undeveloped rolls of film." 

Looks like there's a book of her photos in the works too. Neat!

FUNKTIONAL

Funktional was launched in 2009 by L.A. based designer, Jennifer Park.
She felt the need to design a line inspired by her fashion sense and that of someone who demonstrates modern styling, understands refined details, and luxurious, high-quality fabrics at reasonable prices to meet every woman’s budget.

Get Through Winter

February is the dullest of winter months. We're desperate to see the sun, but the snow shows no sign of stopping. Here's a music mix that reminds us of the romantic parts of winter; pretty folk songs, fall foliage, and relief from summer's heat. The Kurt Vile track is especially delicious. Enjoy.
