MONTREAL FOODIE DESTINATION?

The Layover, with Anthony Bourdain in Montreal

One of the things Montreal is really known for is our excellent array of delicious restaurants. I've always wondered why we don't have the Michelin Star grading scheme here in Canada, but regardless, i'm sure these restaurants would be worthy of the honor. I recently stumbled upon this episode of The Layover with Anthony Bourdain, which then led to watching the next 2 videos below (also about Montreal Food). They cover the classics like La Banquise, Orange Julep(best poutine in my opinion), St-Viateur/Fairmount Bagel, Shwartz, etc... and new favorites like Joe Beef, Gardemanger, & Jane. This whole ordeal ended with an entire afternoon wasted and being insatiably hungry.

 Take a look, extreme-salivating guaranteed.
